RWC : Which "minnow" team has impressed you the most?

i have to give it to Georgia and the USA have made progress.

it wasn't that long ago when both these sides were being totally hammered.now they make more of a game of it.

NZ arnt Minnows, Oracle. What the h**l are you on about, number 1 in the world (unless the boks can help it ;)! Althought I don't want them to ever be a formidable side, the USA has probably made the biggest improvements. I admired the spirit of Portugal.

Romania,Canada and the Portugese forwards have impressed me but Georgia,USA,Tonga and Fiji as a whole team have really improved as minnows

It's definately Portugal for me.  They didn't win a game and gave up the only century in the tournament but they played an expansive style the whole way through.

They could have gone to the slow grinding style that Canada, USA, Romania and others have learnt from England and this would have minimised the amount of points that got scored against them, but it is BORING!  I was truly impressed with the way they stuck to their guns and I hope they keep going down that path in the future.

I'll have to say Tonga or Fiji (no one expected anything of Fiji and guess what - they made the quarter finals.

This is a difficult question for me to answer as the most of the games I have enjoyed and found entertaining have been the ones that have included the minnows.........they proved to be no pushovers but if I had to choose, then it would have to be Georgia........an interesting fact, there is only 8 rugby pitches and 300 players in this country, yet they played some fantastic rugby!

Put some of the big professional teams to shame!
