RWC! Who is the most desperate to win? England or Samoa? it is crunch time! Agree?

England will be most desperate to win to overcome all the trashing they're getting.  I think they'd really have to fall to pieces to lose to Samoa.  However Samoa are gutsy and have great team spirit - bit of a shock loss to Tonga.  Don't think it will be down to who's most desperate to win but the better team.  On another note - isn't it funny that the 'Scotsman' here can't support England....'cos I would have thought most England supporters would support Scotland if they weren't playing England.

That's a hard one, both could still be runners up in the Pool, England would have to win the next two games, Samoa would have to win the next, both would need to get maximum points to earn the bonus, but they'd also have to rely on Tonga losing to SA, which they will, but also not getting and points . . . could go anyway for runners up at this stage. How great would it be if Tonga surprised us all and pipped SA!!!

well well, that is mmm choice to knw? maybe eng? but they lost last week game on Fri nite. not very good start for them, and wait & see for this games on!!!

Both are desperate to win ,both are out to save face,England being current champions and Samoa being the over achievers in the past 4 Cups having made it to the quarter finals 3 times.If England fail to make the quarters,they will be the first champions ever to not proceed from the first round.

England needs to deperatly win the next two, and im sure it will be nice to have Wilkinson back. I think they can do it.

I'm picking England to win their last two games. If they don't then English rugby has certainly hit rock bottom.

It would be amazing to see Samoa or Tonga beat the English, that would be an amazing upset.

But surely, England will not let this happen.

Tonga beating SA is extremely unlikely.

Samoa may bee a bit more desperate but i think england will be a bit too good samoa proved vs tonga that they arnt ready just yet 2 rumble with the big boys england by 15+

I think England, Samoa want to win, but the English team know that for the World Cup holders to be beaten by an outsider could rate them as one of the worst teams in Englsh history.

I wouldn't be suprised if Samoa do it, but I desperately hope we can get it together.  Time for the new blood to stand up and make a name for themselves.

I think that it will be England who are more Desoperate to win but it would be lovely to see the Samoans or maybe the Tongans going through to the Quarter Finals.

Somehow though I cannot see it happen. :(

honestly,mate.england are poor.i'm not crowing because i'm a welshman,i just really think something has to change with english rugby union.

i look at some of those players and i scratch my head,they've lost their way bigstyle and something needs to be done.

i shouldn't be at all surprised if the samoans beat them,that doesn't bring this taff any pleasure at all.
