RYTHYM OF A FAST HORSE

Question

this might seem a silly question for an experienced rider but... how do you follow the cantering rythym of a fast horse, i tend to com edown hard on the saddle any suggestions?

HELP!! (be specific)

pretend your in a rocking chair, while keeping your shoulders as still as posible. DON'T get stiff, acted like your rocking with just your hips, moving your waist....... some of the best addivce i've been given, is to be jello, wiggle (move) with the horse, but keep you form.

I put my weight down in the stirrups and use my knees for control.  It's  kinda like I'm standing up a little in the stirrups.  I find it is much easier to do on an English saddle than on a western because I lean forward a little as well.
