Generalizing from a rabbit's foot being said to be lucky, to which the standard retort is "well it wasn't very lucky for the rabbit, was it?".

Postulate:

rabbits' feet are lucky when they occur in fours (three=> unlucky, five =>mutant)

when they occur in eights (four male, four female), they are extra-lucky.

  1. a rabbit foot's only considered lucky if the rabbit was caught in a  graveyard and only the left hind leg is to be used.
