  1. Carrots, cabbage, celery are all extera things you can give rabbits, just avoid apples and potatoes.

  2. Pellets, hay and water are the most important things for you rabbit. The food should NOT be available all the time (except for hay) as your rabbit will eat too much and get fat.  The amount to feed your rabbit will be on the side of the feed bag, it is based on how much your rabbit weighs. Most rabbits should get 4-8 oz a day. A tuna can holds about 5 oz of pellets.  Of course you need to adjust this down if you are feeding other healthy greens. Treats are just that, treats to be given once in a while.  A rabbits stomach is WAY more delicate than a cat or dog's stomach, so always introduce new foods one at a time and in very small amounts to watch for problems

  3. Hi,

Rabbits like Lucern pellets, which you can buy from supermarkets or pet shops.

They also like grass, especially thistle - but you would have to let your rabbit loose in the yard for this so that they can pick and choose the different types of grass or weeds in your garden that they like. However you can pick different weeds and see which ones your rabbit likes most.

They like carrots, fresh parsley, broccoli,  fresh bread - in fact my rabbit chases me when it sees I'm carrying a slice of bread!

They absolutely LOVE cauliflower leaves - I go to our local fruit and veg shop and ask to rummage through their bin at the back where they have actually thrown out all the cauliflower leaves and collect them - sometimes they put them aside for me. But whatever you do DO NOT give them rhubarb as this can kill them, and cabbage or too much lettuce can give them diarrhea.

    Hope this helps

  4. He needs to have dry food everyday as a rabbit mix with make up all of his basic vitamins, minerals and nutrients, without it his health will suffer.

You should also be providing him with hay on a daily basis.

There are lots of rabbit treats available from pet shops that you could feed your rabbit in small amounts and you can also give him a selection of fruit and veg everyday.

Try him with some white cabbage, carrots and broccolli first and if he gets on well with those you could always try some small amounts of sprouts, parsley, tomatoes, apple, grape etc later. Don't give him anything citrus.

  5. veggies, carrots, peppers, beans, celery

although in all the books theres a rabbit with lettuce, dont give it to them, it makes them sleepy.

a good thing is to give them vegetables in the morning then dry food in the evening. normally the veggies are gone in a flash when i give them to my bunnies :)

  6. give them veg and fruits dont give cabbige as it is not good for rabbits

if u look on this website it tells u all the veg and fruit is ok for your rabbit to eat

  7. Carrots, cut grapes in half ( so they don't choke ) , celery, brocoli. Well the green veggies. And leafy stuff. I think apples should be fine. But read up on that one. Healthy fruits and veggies (:

  8. Dont give the rabbit pellets, it stuff up their molars because they arent grinding them down.

give them birdseed bread (grainy bread) lettuce but not too much, grass, carrots, apples, banana, sultanas, grapes

  9. Greens, hay, fruits, take him to the grass patch to trim the grass and at the same tim let him eat some. . .Thats what i usually does
