Question

is my rabbit pregnant?She is pulling out her hair and putting it in her house.She has her sister with her that could be a male because her other sister that doesnt get along with her was suppose to be a male but turned out to be a female but we werent going to breed them anyway . But im not sure about my rabbits cage mate she could be a boy or girl.OK.so what are the signs of pregnancy???rabbit breeders or people with experience please answer this

It's part of the nesting behavior to pull out the hair on the belly and line the nest with it.  However, rabbits can have false pregnancies, so it may be a good idea to take her in and have the vet check for sure.  If she is pregnant, and nesting, that would mean she is very close.  Gently rubbing and pressing down a little on her belly would let you feel if there were babies inside.

The best way to keep rabbits in pairs is to spay and neuter a male and a female, and keep them together.  2 neutered males can still sometimes fight, but 2 spayed females typically won't, and a male and female typically won't either.  Depends on the two, though.

she could be pregnant or it could be a false pregnancy if the rabbit with her is a female..however it has been my experience that most of the time 2 females don't get along well...I would remove the other rabbit and put a nest box in with her..you may want to try to s*x your other rabbit you have to push in the genitals till it pops out and a male looks like a tube and a female will have a slit in it and look more triangular or like a V.. but if she is already pulling fur she is due in the next 2 days to a week.
