Rabbit eye question *health*

My rabbit has a blue line in his eye that looks like a lightning bolt. What is this and what should i do about this i think it could be a cataract and mom wont take him to the vet hes had it for like a week and it hasn't got worse so i don't know what it is can you help me? and what should i do?

  1. It may be an eye injury or a cataract. Vets are actually not a waste of money but many vets do not know about rabbits since they are exotics.

    Eye injuries are pretty serious. He may lose the eye if you don't get it checked out. A week is already too long.

  2. As long as it doesn't appear to be in pain, don't worry about it.  Vets (for the most part) don't know how to care for rabbits and it should be okay.  It would be a waste of time and money.  Don't worry about it.  Good luck.
