  1. From what I have read a rabbit nesting box is basically the cage but I know thats not what you meant. You can build a large wood box that is enclosed inside the cage so that even with chewing wont be chewed completly up in 2 days. Unfortuanatly the downfall with wood is if the rabbit peas on it there is no real way to clean it and get the smell out. Good luck.

  2. Get a plastic box. Like a rubbermaid one. The rabbit won't be able to chew out of that unless it has ALOT of unsupervised time.

  3. You are correct.  Your rabbit would eat a cardboard box in just a day or two!

Make sure he has some good chunks of wood to chew on - they need this to keep their teeth from growing too big.  That's why they chew on things.

Forget plastic - that won't last much longer than cardboard.

Really a pet store or farm supply store is your best bet.  You can find them online, too.  There are metal ones, but they rust over time.  Can't be chewed, though!  Wooden ones don't rust, but they do get chewed.  However, if you make sure they have a chunk of wood, they won't chew on their box as much.  That can be any piece of unpainted, natural wood. Not plywood or partical board - the glue in them is not good for bunnies to eat.  A stout stick from the yard would be great.

  4. Erm..try in your nearest pets store. Or try and make one yourself out of something.

    Hope this helped =D

  5. take a few pieces of wood, and make a box, and make it really cozy for the rabbit!
