Rabbit problem how can.?

I stop rabbits destroying new tree plantings wiyhout killing them.

put a small wooden fence around the tree, and don't tell the the rabbits to hop it!

How many tree plantings ? How large tree plantings ?

I have seen old milk containers with the bottoms cut out and put over top of the plants so just the tops stick out. On larger trees I have seen 5 gallon plastic pails cut the same way. A plastic turf fence just jams into the ground and may prevent them going over if you get it high enough. Of course a fence around the entire place would be excellent and costly. A dog works wonders but chances are Briar Rabbit is going to get bit. I have heard stories of mothballs scattered all over the ground working but have not seen it myself.
