Rabbit sore?!?

My rabbit has had a sore on his ear for about three months and its not going away. We had several vets look at it and they did not know what to do. Is there something I can do to heal it or dose it take some time.Its very painful for him at times. Please help him.

is the sore inside the ear or on the outside?

If its inside it might be ear mites and you have to kill them before the ear will heal. If its on the outside it could be any number of things. Give me more info about location, sizr and what it looks like

take him to a vet who is knowledgable about rabbits, maybe he has some kind of infection.  In the mean time just be careful what you put on it, make sure it is safe if the rabbit accidentally ingests it

try using bag balm. thats what we use on my dog and it always makes his sores go away.

take him to a QAULIFIED vet. A good vet will not send home a rabbit thatr is in sever pain with out helping him
