  1. I have never had a rabbit with fleas, but this is what i would do:

wash the rabbit just like a cat. Use cat shampoo because human shampoo is too rough on the skin. BEFORE getting the rabbit wet, but soap on the butt hole, and right in frount of the ears. (the fleas run to any hole in the body when the animal gets wet. So the shampoo will catch them, and kill them.) Then wash the bunny really good. Rinse, and dry the best you can.

I would call your local vet office, and ask if you can use flea meds on a rabbit. I have never heard of it before, but its a possibility. I think they sell advantage for $15 a tube.

Never use the over the counter meds on animals! They mess up the skin, and never work.

    best of luck!

  2. Not sure about medicine for it but I know if you use Dawn dish soap it should get rid of most of the fleas. Contact a vet about the medicine.

  3. You could probably use a flea and tick shampoo made for cats on your bunny.  Also, if you can find a flea-killing spray, like Frontline, you can spray it on her back and rub it into the fur.  That should get rid of them.  The fleas will jump off and die, so don't be surprised if you find bunny's bedding all full of dead fleas a little while later :)  Give her the bath first.  And be careful not to get any of this stuff in her eyes!!  Keep well away from the face.

  4. it is very rare for rabbits to get fleas so it could be something else. TAKE IT TO THE VET!! Vets are very good and it depends on where you go as to the cost. the vet will probably give you medicine which is suitable for your rabbit. Giving it a bath will not help.

  5. Giving your rabbit a bath will not help, you need to take your rabbit to the vet as soon as possible before your rabbit contracts another type of flea problem, like embedded in the skin. Take it to vet, soon, and why should the price matter, if you love them the give them the best.
