  1. Don't buy them - especially if it is outdoors - that may be illegal.  In any case, I don't support buying pet shop animals.

Besides, you can find better, friendly, and perhaps, cheaper, well-bred, purebred rabbits from a reputable breeder.  They are not difficult to find in every state in the U.S or U.K.  In the U.S you've got at least 47 different rabbit breeds to choose from.

Or adopt from your local shelter.

  2. Hahah man, you don't want those rabbits. Rabbit in Chinatown is pure food; the people who bred them did not intend them to live long, so most likely, they've been in horrible conditions. This could have led to many diseases.

Just buy from the pet store, it's only like $20 for a rabbit.

  3. Don't do it!! Not only do they sound unhealthy, but I doubt that they were bred and raised humanely.  Also, unneutered animals are trouble- besides the obvious reasons, they will give off a stronger smell and be more aggressive.  Always have your pets fixed.  I work at a shelter- we put rabbits down every day due to over population because of back yard breeders like them.

  4. they sell everything and anything in chinatwon. Canal street

  5. dont buy rabbits in chinatown unless you want to cook them. if theyre going to be pets, look in the paper and buy some nice, pygmy rabbits from some farmwoman or a breeder

  6. nope, id prefer the pet shop! they could have rabies for all you know!

  7. DO NOT GET THAT RABBIT! I can assure your it have some type of disease! If you are talking about China Town, LA. I will sell you a rabbit that is perectly healthy!

  8. Buy from either a good pet shop- local or chain if you think the chain shop is run well- or a breeder/shelter.

Buying from someone who sells animals in a market is never a good idea, and you have no sort of guarante against them if something goes wrong- illness, death, etc.- and it may not even be legal.
