Rabbits not afraid of humans?!?

Question

i was riding my bike around the culdesac and i saw a rabbit @ the corner thinking it was scared i went it to my garage to let it run. but it didnt so then i kept riding my bike and it would just watch me then sniff the ground and didnt care i was there. so i went inside and then came back out 10 mins later STILL THERE! and watched me for a little then went back to whatever it was doing. then earlier today i was riding my bike down the street and a squierrl stops in the dead middle of the road and just stared @ me. so i rode my bike the other way turned around and saw the squirl just sitting on the grass. are the animals in my nieghbor hood drugged?! and the rabbit.... is still sitting out there!!!!!!

Sometimes people will "release" domestic rabbits.

This is bad because human bred rabbits have no fear insticts or capability for surviving outdoors.

If he seems like a domestic breed, I would try and catch him and turn him over to a shelter.

As for the squirrel, many people feed wildlife. Just as we become used to them, animals become used to us.

cuz its probably been raised by people, and was dumped! call the rescue, please or take it in.

Haha i know how you feel.

it'ts not right, their suppose to be scared of us !

same thing with our pigeons here in ny.

they used to fly away as soon as you stepped foot on their block.

now you can run up to them and they don't care !! and they fly right over my head !!!and one time a bird slapped me in the face with its wing !!!! ugh its insane.

not a very big fan of birds.

or rabbits.

or squirrels.

i'm scared of everything lol.

but yeah, i don't know whats happening to this world.

no one is scared of humans any more =[

when rabbits have myxomatosis (i don't know the spelling)  they get paralysis ... and will just sit there until they die.
