Race favourites Holycross Prince and Romeo Patriot will fight to dominate the Grade OR Heat 19 (5 to qualify) at Wimbledon
The Grade OR Heat 19 (5 to qualify) will take place at Wimbledon on 28th April, 2012, where Lenson Mac, Lughill Paulo, Rusheen Major, Kirkland Black, Holycross Prince and Romeo Patriot will race for £110 over a distance of 480
metres.
Holycross Prince and Romeo Patriot will make this race twice as exciting as they will be racing as favourites with winning odds of 9 to 4.
Holycross Prince, the son of Balintore Brave, out of Hasty Princess, may find the track beneficial, as he has raced here previously.
Trainer J. Mullins ran him through a solo run on 14th March, 2012, where he completed the 480 metre distance in 29.35 seconds.
The duo’s rematch has been much anticipated since the two hounds met on 28th March, 2012.
Romeo Patriot and Holycross Prince faced off on 28th March, 2012, where Holycross Prince triumphed by a margin of 1 ¼ lengths in 28.78 seconds over a distance of 480 metres.
The black hound succeeded over the race favourite, Razldazl Bugatti, by a short-head in the Grade OR Brisbane Bogan Bonanza at Wimbledon on 31st March, 2012.
On 18th April, 2012, he defeated, Blackrose Bullet, by 3 lengths in 28.82 seconds.
The punters are forced to keep his good run in mind, and will be hoping that he performs just as brilliantly today.
Romeo Patriot is not to be under-estimated, as he is in extremely good form.
Trainer’s D. Firmager’s hard work showed when the black hound won five races on the trot, three of them at Nottingham and the remaining two at Wimbledon.
The son of Bombastic Shiraz, out of Fabulous March, began his racing career on 25th August, 2011, where he landed a solid finish as a runner-up to, Rockview Royal, by 4 ½ lengths at Henlow.
Over the course of his career, he has shown consistency and improvement, and with his form, it is likely that he will deliver a terrific race.
The race favourites will make this event extremely entertaining, as both of them have the talent and skill to take this race.
Their connections will be keeping their fingers crossed, with the hope that their runners will excel. Odds are tilting slightly in the favour of Romeo Patriot over Holycross Prince.
