Raceday Superstitions?

Being the dummy I am and rushing my question, when I say where will your driver finish, I mean at Sonoma? =p

I do the opposite: I will NOT wear or use anything that has to do with my drivers. I won't touch anything of theirs, I won't use my coffee cups on race day. I tried this too many times-Rusty shirts, pants (yes, I have Kasey Kahne jammy pants), Harvick or Kahne coffee cup, #2 or #29 earrings, etc, etc. It ALWAYS brings them bad luck.

I just wear an 88 t-shirt and maybe my National Guard pj pants. Oh yeah have to throw a couple darts at my Kyle Busch dartboard.

Relax, winter last season it was Jimmie Johnson, and I'm actually thinking of replacing Shrub with Hamlin.

I can not wear my 2006 M&M's shirt on raceday, he wrecked everytime and I retired that shirt a long time ago. 8th for Sadler, where he wound up alost all the road course raced in the last two years. He's underrated on the road courses.

Like Rustyfan, I won't wear NASCAR shirts on race day. It seems to bring my drivers bad luck. Even when I go to a race, I don't wear NASCAR stuff... except for an old #5 Terry Labonte tobogan if it's cold or rainy. I figure that's safe since he's retired other than helping out Mikey last year and the Pettys this year.

Wake Up Turn on NASCAR 08 pick Truex Jr, pick the track they are racing at and try to win (which i usually do) then take a shower, put on my Truex shirt and Pitcap. Rub my Truex diecast car for good luck. Racetime comes Grab my Truex cupholder and drink a Coke. Usually have shrimp cocktail (since he likes seafood too) and root for him to win. Hasn't happened yet this season but I will not give up.

Truex will hopefully win but I will say based on other finishes 21st

I just wear my Dale Jr T-shirt and jeans or shorts thats enough, but my cat has his Dale Jr bandana and Dale Jr collar and sometimes he will wear the cap, and he sits in  his #88 Stadium chair, and dares anyone else to kick him out.. Race day at my place everyone comes over mostly in their drivers T-shirts or caps.. We have several laptops with trackpass going, some on scanner,some on pit command, some race view.. We have a little bet pool, if your driver wins the race then you feed next week. I'm gonna be in Sonoma this weekend with 3 other Dale Jr fans so we will have to cook and provide the beer for the Loudon race next weekend. Yes its race central at my place on race day, all we need now is Kenny Wallace, he'd fit right in with us..

I just have big fat Nascar slippers.  They look like cars.  lol  Something a little kid would wear but I found them in my size.   I sit in a recliner, drink to the left...plate with snacks to the right...

Then, if anyone walks in front of the TV when the race is on...it's bad luck for them! Especially,  if in that few microseconds,  I missed something!!

Geez...I just drink a Mountain Dew and have a bag of jollly ranchers.

My favorite driver...Jr...will finish his first Infineon race inside the Top 10, I'd say 5-10. He gained some momentum and even though he isn't good on road courses, he sure is good with Hendrick's.
