Can I use leaded racing fuel mixed with 2-cycle engine oil for my 1985 jawa 130 49cc moped....i was told that when this was made unleaded didn't exist...What are the pros and cons of using this racing fuel?...and should i use more oil sense there is a higher octane rating?...Also what is the best fuel to use and is there anything else I can do to give it some extra speed, it only goes about 30-35.

  1. yes racing fuel is OK...  no do not change the ratio of oil to gas..

if you use more oil.. then the fuel that is sucked through the carbie has more oil in it..  the engine wont suck any extra through the jets .. so the amount of fuel is less..  this causes the bike to run lean & may cause over heating or even seize the motor..

  2. I dont care what kind of fuel you use its still a moped. Not gonna go any faster

  3. Unleaded was widely available in '85. Don't waste your time, you'll gain no speed with race fuel.  Mix it with pump gas and ride it.
