Racing seats?

i wanna buy a racing seat but im not sure how they go in. do they bolt on to the existing seat frame or do i buy that too. and what about the racing seat belts?? how do those get installed??

most of the time you have to installed 'rail'. that mean the racing seat sit on the rail. u cant use your old 'rail'. so they will use new frame or 'rail' bolt on your car. about the belts, i saw one of my friend car has one of those. like the belts been installed on the racing seat itself.

4 and 5 point racing harnesses are illegal to put in passenger vehicles.*

You will have to use your installed belt which will make it difficult to fit correctly around a racing seat & could cause more serious injuries if in an accident.

Not sure if the seats are even legal or not- but they would mount to the existing mounting points or have an adapter that bolts into your car's factory mounts & then the seat would mount to the adapter.

Check w/ your local DMV office or State Police to see if the seats are legal.

*There is one brand of 4 point harness that is legal to put in a passenger car, but most state laws do not permit it even though it is certified.
