Racking for boat?

what is meant by boat racking? i want to join a rowing club but they charge extra for boat racking and I do not know what this means.

I am guessing it means putting your boat in storage when you are not using it, on a rack perhpas

as opposed to you brining your boat back and forth each time.

The rack is the framework on which the boat is stored.  I assume that putting the boat on the rack is done by employees of the club, and likewise placed ready to use when you are going out.
