  1. Some types of low-grade radiation do affect sperm health.  It is accepted that female sperm are stronger, but slower than the faster, weaker male sperm.  Airline pilots are exposed to low-grade radiation for extended periods by the equipment in the cockpit.  Studies have shown that pilots produce a much greater number of female offspring than the rest of the general population.  This has been attributed to their exposure to low-grade radiation.

I think it's too soon to tell how much if any effect there will be on sperm health as a result of cellphone radiation.  I would personally err on the side of caution.

  2. Is your friend a nuclear physicist?  Bet not.  So don't believe c**p from someone who has no expertise to make substantiated statements.

  3. Heat reduces sperm count. So avoid hot tubs, prolonged periods of having lap tops on your laps, etc.  But the biggest danger to your sperm count is soy. According to a new study, eating soy reduces sperm count from 140 million per milliliter to 40 million, which is technically sterile.

  4. No, that is just a tabloid lie. Cell phones are not radioactive or a spermicide. Your friends must believe everything they hear.
