Radiator Help Please??

Question

My radiator blew out, and i need a new one ASAP.

My car is a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse, 2.4L Manual.

I have found multiple radiators, but they all have a diff. core size.

I've measured the inlet and outlet sizes, but how do i do it with the core?

I'm really confused, does the core size matter? How do i find MY current core size?

the bigger the core the better cooling. you may have to get a radiator from a dealer

Replace it with the same one so that you wont have any problems and dont buy a japanese made one instead buy an american one, they will last longer.

Any auto parts store will be able to get you the correct one.

That model comes with either a 5/8 inch core or a 1 inch. Core size does matter otherwise it won't fit. You need to measure the thickness of the core. Call the dealer with your VIN # and they should be able to tell you what came original equipment.
