What do you think are some of the causes and manifestions of radical individualism...?? I for one think that most american people are too individualized.

It's a rebellion to ideals that have been forced upon them by parents, religious authorities, teachers, or some other figure in their life.  They are acting out because they realize the B.S. these people are trying to force feed them and want to get away from it so bad that they act out in different ways including odd dress\fashion, cult or extreme religious sects, gang activity ect.  Also note that most radical individualism is actually not individualism since it usually involves becoming attached to a group that is all ready involved in such said activities.  It can also be attributed to loneliness, sexual and physical abuse, poverty and mental disorders.
