Long whinded...but it'll spark debate i'm sure
I need somewhere I can properly vent my own thoughts with regards to my country, the problems facing us and the people against it's own government.
Firstly I'd like to begin where we all I believe find a common interest, a common 'want'. The nearest we've got to defining this 'want' (speaking collectively, and on a economical/political level) is called a democracy, there is no better system. As Winston Churchill once said; "It has been said that democracy is the worst form of government except all the others that have been tried. " I don't think any of us will argue against that, but as always i'm open to suggestion so please feel free!
I'll admit before anyone calls me bias, that I am a massively patriotic British man. I grew up a lot in the past 2 or 3 years and have a very long way to go i'm sure. I, like many of my friends have had the pleasure in my younger teens where 'anarchy' ruled my life, punk music, propaganda, self-indulgement, hate toward the government, basically I was a blind kid believing he understood the world and it's problems via progressive manipulation by the so called 'know it alls' of this world to turn against your government, to turn against society, to embrace humiliation as a standard, and to accept belonging to a nation of 'evil doers'. So what does the kid (Or should I say 'liberal'? lol) achieve through this constant nagging and whining? The simple truth is (unless perhaps your an activist) nothing, all it creates is further negative output by that individual towards what I believe is the 'greater good', to me these kind of ideas simply harass and become obstacles to the true goal (The Common Goal). This is a phrase I personally believe we all need to start embracing against the newest threat out there (Radical Islam): "For The Greater Good", because many things I believe will need to done to erradicate this threat and these ideologies, and in the face of political correctness these days they may certainly be deemed, unethical, unmoral, even evil perhaps, and that's why the 'greater good' needs to be understood so we are willing to take action NOW before it's too late.
Coming to a new understanding, one which has much more clarity is that on the most part, a large section of our world 'knows' what needs to be achieved, it 'knows' what system must be put in place for global security and sensible control and management over an ever complexing world. (UK, USA, Canada, Most of Europe, Australia) Firstly I believe the process of elimination must take place, this involves eliminating ideologies that we know can never evolve or adapt in the world today safely, ideas we simply cannot allow to branch out to our nearing borders. Radical Islam being at the forefront of these crazy all conquering ideas of course is the vocal point, it has to go, and we can't afford to be in the 'grey'. When I say that (grey), think of 'decision' making as a spectrum, you have black (yes) and white (no) and you have 'grey' which is 'undecided'. Now the UK and the USA have MADE A DECISION whilst the rest stay in the 'grey' with regards to how do we stop these threats. Why can't people make a decision? Why can't Europe with all it's military might decide to go in at full force and erradicate these problems whilst supporting and protecting the innocent in these territories? Why? Because to stay in the grey leaves you in a seat of ability, what's this ability? The ability to 'criticise'. Anyone stupid enough to believe they can 'action' something without disagreement on some level, is both deluded and wrong. Again, I refer to Winston Churchills quote: "You have enemies? Good, it means you've stood up for something sometime in your life". The liberals as much as they deem to have an opinion, they do! But they have no 'plan of action' against there opinoins, they are simply taking the higher moral ground, again, just to have the ability of critcising.
So now, I want to hear from the liberals. I want to hear from people who are apposed to this war, WHAT is your plan of action against radical islam? The conservatives have a plan, it's to invade these territories, only through forcing your way through can you force a divide in these territories into two pots, those who are 'for' radical islam and those who are against it and simply want what we have in our nations, stability, bright futures for our children and success. Why don't people understand that when our troops are walking through these cities, they are not 'forcing' the innocents out of there, they are driving terrorists away to confine them into one territory..(east Iraq, Iran border) so we can eliminate them. I'm sorry, but you only have to take a look at our own democracies to learn that to achieve what we did, we to had to take the same steps. The only difference is, 'we' (US and UK) are making the steps for these countries ourselves, 'we' know what needs to be done as they haven't even estab
