Radical Islam--will they lie to shape young minds?

Sometimes for the radical Islamists to over-take a government it must become a struggle from within. It is a known fact extremists encourage lying to the 'infidels' when it is politically expedient to worm your way into a society to amass in sufficient numbers to affect change.

It has happened in France already and will very soon now happen in the U.K. as well.

How long will we permit free speech to be extended to the radical element that wishes to destroy us? To surrender to these people should never be an option to be considered---converts are used as slaves.

  1. Absolutely.  Radical islam is a cancer on the world!

  2. I agree, and the College Republicans are even worse....

  3. This is common with religion, here is the US it is christianity lying to shape young minds and corrupting the government.

  4. Look at the Democrats. They lie to shape young minds, why do you think a VAST majority of Republicans are hard working, employed individuals. Once you've actually lived life and started paying taxes and raising a family, you realize that the Democrats simply want to tax the life out of the working to pay for the non-working. Look at what a mess their housing legislation made of the economy. Force banks to lower lending standards to help lower income families buy houses. Brilliant.

  5. it's kind of like the religious right in this country. Religion just seems to always bring the best out in people!

  6. They're already playing us like a fiddle. They know our social weaknesses much better than we do.

  7. By explaining to your children that religion is a fraud and that there are no gods, you'll never have to worry about your child being taken in by some silly middle eastern fairytale.  Once again, Holy Cow has saved the day.

  8. of course.

    most radicals do.

whenever an ideology (religious, philisophical) is tied to social/political structure (rather than self-reliant, individual conviction), insofar that the ideological goals are only possible through structural change, then individual conviction of the ideology is not important in the end; temporary conviction of certain individual targets is all that is needed, combined with opportunism on the part of other targets, and the deception or complaisance of the rest.

one must remember that converts to an ideology are often rabid in their advocacy for their new hobby, and especially nasty in their rejection of whatever they feel they converted away from.  many times its a personal problem; a war with themselves that they choose to externalize, generally to the detriment of good judgment, long-term benefit to others in general, and the "tolerance" they piously propagate.

You mention Islam in particular; some radical activists of political Islam are indeed converts.

after the structure, the big picture, is changed to suit their ends, then whether an individual loses "faith" in an ideology because of a lie doesn't matter, because the structure and authority dictates that the ideology is valid and squashes dissent---it is a quest for structural appearance rather than individual transformation

  9. Our Freedoms are used against us by Mohammedans seeking to destroy us, while in countries they control there is no Freedoms. France, The UK, and even the US are making a very serious mistake seeking to apiece them. Open immigration has been a curse to The UK, and others, and will be here. These people are our enemies !

  10. Wow, you really don't get it do you?  I'll spell it out:

People who are viewed as even possible terrorists are watched pretty much 24/7.  If they aren't, they're arrested.  Their freedoms are removed, and we deal with them that way.  In doing so, we have arrested and falsely imprisoned many possible terrorists for doing absolutely nothing.  There is nothing specific to Islam that makes them more likely to be terrorists.  IN FACT, in the span of human history, terrorists are more common in other religions (Christianity hosting the most people) than Islam.  Even among radical Islamic people, the amount of terrorists that have been produced is extremely low.

You mention France and the U.K., and nothing else.  First of all, neither of those countries are under the control of Islam.  You provide no evidence to support that.  Second, these countries have been attacked by terrorists extremely seldom in history.  If what you say is true, they should either have been attacked many times by now or be a terrorist breeding ground, which is beyond belief.

If you want to say radical Islam is bad, you should be able to support that.  You haven't done that, not in the slightest.  And your last line, that converts are used as slaves, is entirely speculative, there is no basis for it.
