1.television sets. what does it mean to refer to A 20 inch tv set or a 25 inch tv set? such units refer to the diaonal of the screen. a 10 inch tv also has a width of inches what is it in height?

2. use the laws of exponents to simplify . 5^5/12 5^3/12=

3. find the lentgh of A in the right triangle if b =12 & c=13

2.  5^(8/12) = 5^(2/3)

a tv screen has with/hight=4/3 (or 16/9 or 16/10)

w/h=4/3

w^2+h^2=10^2

so:w=8,h=6 ,d=10,pitagorean numbers
