  1. It may be a PRS licence that is being mentioned. The performing rights society have been contacting businesses to find out if they are playing music. The minimum licence fee is about £65 p.a.

  2. You may need a PPL,this is to cover playing music in a public place ie not a domestic situation.

  3. what rubbish,  i d turn it up !!!

bloody to many chefs for the kitchen instance here,  twats

  4. Officies, shops, factories or any place other than private homes have always needed a PRS licence to play music.

In recent years, the PRS (Performing Rights Society) have brought more prosecutions for unlicensed premises and work places, that's why more employers are clamping down.

  5. They are talking BS, you don not need a radio licence but if there is a TV on the premises then you need a TV licence and that should cover everything...

  6. uk...sounds like bull to me...bosses are taking the wee..contact your union rep...

  7. You don't need a license to RECEIVE, just to transmit.

  8. Workplaces need a licence from the Performing Arts Society and I think the cost depends on if the public have access to the building and how many staff are there.(UK)
