Radio code for a Renault Scenic?

Hi All

I had the disconnect the battery on my 2001 Renault scenic, and as a result, the radio has lost it's code...now I am musicless :-(

When I bought the car, the code wasn't in it's documents, so Renault ant £20 just for looking the code up on their computer.

Does anyone know a cheaper way of getting my code (free would be even better!)

Go to the parts desk at your Renault dealership and ask the bloke for the code he should give it you. Do not ask at the service desk.

start at 0000 and work your way through until you reach the right 4 digit code it may take a  couple hrs to do

Each radio has a unique code, there should be a card in the audio section of the manual with the number.  If not, only the dealer will be able to help.  Did you buy from a dealer, or an individual?  If a dealer, you *might* get it free.
