my problem started with the clock/radio in my truck wouldn't turn off (this ran down my battery). The truck has a "ungo" alarm that hasn't worked correctly since i purchased the truck. I unplugged the alarm , this appeared to fix that problem . the problem I have is that since unplugging the alarm )my dash lights do not come on and the display on my radio goes off when the headlights are turned on(display on radio work with lights off

  2. i would have the ungo alarm removed completely and the trucks wiring put back to stock. it sounds like the wiring involving your dimmer switch and the parking light may be mixed up. take it to a pro and have the alarm removed. them make sure all you fuses are good.good luck!

  3. you have to pull your radio out and there is an orange wire its you illumination wire and you have to disconnect it from the radio or the alarm which ever it is hooked to
