Radio won't turn off when I take my key out?

Question

I was checking my fuse to fix my gauge lights in my 2001 alero when I accidently pull the red wire from dvr side fuse box. I'm confuse on where do I put the wire back in. I tried something but my radio won't trun off when I take my key out. Where does that red wire go its urgent?

Why doesn't it go to the harness behind the dash? Go to the radio fuse in the fuse box.

The red wire is always a positive.  Some newer cars are designed to keep the radio on until the door is opened.  If you need to know where the wire goes, dont just connect it anywhere. if the car works fine without it, cap it off so it doesnt short.  If it doesnt shut off when you open the door, the cd player has two wires to go to a positive connection. usually yellow and red.  The red one should go straight to a positive lead and the yellow should go to an ignition lead that turns on when the key is on acc or on.  hope this helps. email me if u have any more questions.
