Radon test- how affected by carrying it to the post office/mailing?

I ran a radon test and it came back 1.4, slightly above the national average of 1.3.

I had to carry it to work and to the post office to mail it.

How is the test not affected by carrying it outside like that,

and then getting mailed, etc.?

  1. via ups.

  2. The tester measures an accumuilation of radon so it stops going up after you remove it from the testing area to an outside location.  It doesn't go down when you put it in an open air space.  It measures the accumulated radon.
