http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Radosav-Petrovic-c30309, the Blackburn Rovers midfielder, has revealed he feels he is settling in well with the Premier League outfit after having signed with them from FK Partizan in the summer transfer window of 2011.
The 22-year-old defensive midfielder was initially unable to secure a place in the starting XI when the Rovers were struggling in the Premier League at the beginning of the season. Since then Steve Kean’s men have improved and so have the number of appearances Petrovic has made.
While Blackburn http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rovers-c40385 remain in the bottom three of the Premier League table, Petrovic has made considerable progress and revealed he was happy at Ewood Park. According to the midfielder, he had adapted to the Premier League and hoped to be a success at his new club.
Petrovic said while speaking to reporters:
“I am now enjoying the games. Every day I feel like I am getting better and better and I think now I am playing well.
I am no longer a new player - I am here, I am happy and I hope to continue that.
Every player who comes in from a different league needs a little time to adapt, but now I am playing well.”
Petrovic began his football career with local side FK Jedinstvo Ub, making his senior debut for the side in the 2006-2007 season. A year later he moved on to FK Radnicki Obrenovac, where he remained for just a year before joining http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FK-Partizan-c39320 in the summer of 2008.
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Serbia-c3002 international made 70 appearances for Partizan in the league and went on to score 17 goals for them before his move to Blackburn Rovers was finalized. The midfielder developed a knack of scoring on important occasions.
He opened his scoring account for Partizan in the 3-0 win over FK Sevojno in the Serbian Cup final and then went on to score in the final of the Serbian SuperLiga game of the season against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FK-Cukaricki-Stankom-c39276. After making his 100th appearance for Partizan, Petrovic was named in the Serbian SuperLIga Team of the Year for the second season in a row.
