In what year was the Hawker Hind replaced by the Gloster Gladiater??

Hawker Hind aircraft retired from R.A.F service in 1943.The last Gloster Gladiators flew with a met;wing of the R.A.F in 1944.

Gladiators were fighter planes,the Hind was a light bomber version of the Hart.

Either may have remained with foreign air forces at a later date,a Gladiator still flies as part of the Shuttleworth collection.

Hinds were still around long after that 'official' end, as sation hacks all over the world. But they were such a useful crate they were loved. The Glad was officially a fighter, but seriously limited on firepower and speed, she was however sturdy and easier to maintain than her replacement monoplanes.  so your answer is .....it depends
