Rafa's rotation thing ?

Have you ever thought that Benitez turns, tinkers, does this rotation thing every season for a reason ? Did you notice that he didn't give Babel a start for almost 12 games into the season ? I think this was to rest him, Torres, and other players and have them fit for the 2nd part of the campaign (Champions League semi final, quarter final, etc)

Now I'm not a fan of Liverpool, can you think of any other reason he did this, and ended their title hopes few months into the season ?

  1. Champions League Glory means a lot to him, so when he rotates it gives us a stronger chance in the CL but It does do my head in.......

Another reason-He may have wanted to try different players so he can see their abilities.

    :)

  2. He wants the CHampions League. You cansee that Liverpool are a step above the other teams in the Champions League because they have been well rested.

What I don't understand is why Benitez sacrafices the League (which is what the Liverpool fans want) in order to gamble on the Champions League which, as proven from this year, is not gurenteed to the fittest team.

  3. It gets me angry sometimes. But end of last season, when 4th place was a threat, he picked about the same team in all the games. LFC for life.

  4. its all about knowing which player best fits what position.. he finds it difficult to do this in the team.. As they have at least two players that can play in each position... And they are still signing.. so thats the thing...

  5. Personally i don´t think the fella knows what the h**l he´s doing himself. He seems clueless to me.

  6. Because he is a fat clueless tw#t who dosent know what he is doing

  7. Although it does my head in sometimes, what it all boils down to is, no-one knows the players better than Rafa.
