Rafa vs. Novak predictions?

I reckon Rafa will take it it straight sets if he plays the way he has been playing :). Novak also had a more tiring match against Monfils than Rafa did against Melzer so that should go in Rafa's favour. I'm soo nervous lol even though I think Rafa will win !! There have been a lot of upsets so far in the Olympics so I'm hoping this isn't another one. Yeah, so it might not be that much of an upset if Novak wins cause he is #3 in the world hehe ! I really don't wanna see Djokovic taking gold cause his ego would sky rocket :( and it's big enough already lol :) ! What do you think?

  1. I think Djokovic is better on this surface, and already has the boost of beating nadal at their last encounter. But I can tell you its unlikely that one will win in straight sets

  2. nadal

  3. 6-3, 7-5 rafa

  4. I'm picking Djokovic in three sets (I expect a wave from thumbs down from the Rafa fans...) I honestly believe Djokovic is the best hard court player, just a touch above Nadal (Fed is kind of falling out of consideration here; he's struggling on every surface now). He has a 4-2 record head-to-head on the hard courts. When Djokovic is at his best he is near unbeatable on the hardcourts. Nadal's commitment to improving his game is incredible and it earns him the number one spot, but he hasn't won a hard court Grand Slam yet like Novak has. It's strange that Nadal is better and more comfortable on clay and grass because on those surfaces the ball takes weird bounces. Nonetheless, I expect a great match tomorrow and it may as well be decided by a few points here and there.

  5. Rafa hopefully 7-5 6-4. Now Federer has gone he might get the gold and as he's up against Blake or Gonzalez if he's in the final he should win the match.

  6. Rafa.

  7. I agree with you 100%. I think Rafa will win because he's better rested for this match and now knows his flaws from their previous meeting in Cincinnati. If Djokovic does win this match, his ego would sky rocket and I think he'd perform well in the US Open. He is already arrogant enough.... also, I think Nadal would beat Novak in the US Open because it is a best of 5 sets and he'd wear Novak out easily.

  8. Going by their history on hardcourts 7-5 7-6 Djokovic

  9. Rafa in 2! :-D (fingers crossed)

  10. I think Djokovic. What is it? Semis? Also, my Romanian girl won the gold in tennis (juniors). HAHA.

  11. Honestly, I don't really want to choose. Either one can take it. But what is for sure is that the match will be amazing!

  12. 7-5,4-6,-7-6 Djokovic.
