  1. No doubt he is the best player on clay, especially since the days of Muster. He is most certainly the man to beat at any given tournament played on the clay surface. However, that does not mean he wont be given stiff competition. I expect Federer, of course, as well as Gonzalez, Ferrer, Davydenko to give him fits, being they become his opponent.

  2. Rafael is my favorite player by far.  He may not always beat Roger, but I like his style better and he never gives up!

  3. Yes, he is.

    Absolutely.

  4. he is getting up there yes... sure he will be.. if he wins the french open again this year.. he is surely the greatest clay court player that is a male....

  5. Amazing i read that statistic yesterday, probably a few more French Open titles then he will be the undisputed.

  6. There are players in the past who also had impressive clay court records over a longer duration. So Nadal is getting there. If he keeps this up, he will end his career as the greatest clay court legend.

  7. yes

  8. that's why he's my favorite!!! vamos nadal!

  9. Yes, he's becoming one of the greatest players on clay.  When he won the final in Barcelona for the 4th time the commentators mentioned about him being the King of Clay.

  10. Not until he surpasses Bjorn Borg's 6  French Open titles. Did you forget him? In 1978-79-80, he followed his French Open titles, with Wimbledon titles.

  11. I think he is. Don't forget he also had that 71 match winning streak on clay as well only broken by Federer who commented that Nadal was jaded in that match.

  12. The title 'King of Clay' didnt come for nothing. He is the greatest tennis player ever to play on clay. No doubt about it.
