  1. Rafa plays matches with his knees taped up, and feet sovered in big blister, the guys a total warrior and he never complains. If I were Djokovic I'd be the one worried about surviving, Rafa isn't called King of Clay for nothing. I think Djokovic could challenge him like at Hamburg but Rafa will prevail over him just like in Hamburg. Rafa wears out his opponents physically and emotionally, I doubt if he won't do the same to Novak.

  2. Although Rafa is still getting treatment for the infected blister  that has been troubling him for some weeks now and has to wear a special padding round it with a hole for the blister to drain(yeeuuck!) , he hasn't complained about having to play with this handicap.

However,he has made it known that the rain delays and the scheduling of matches from the second round BEFORE his unfinished 1st round match hve been things that he finds disconcerting and unfair. He said yesterday that he was tired (non stop matches over four days).

Another problem is that several of the top Spanish tennis players are having a very bitter fight with their Federation president and there are a lot of acrimonious messages going back and forth. I think that this might affect Rafa's spirit. I think he's a bit sad at how this president has treated the players.

I hope his will to win overcomes all these set backs and that he makes history with a 4th RG title!!

  3. well... it could be this year is his time to break at the french open..

but more then likely blisters will not stop him.... they can pad that...

  4. he would win it

  5. Hay all the Novak haters!!! Novak will kick that monkey's as* and I will be laughing than, suc*ers!!! Novak is the king of Paris this year!!!

  6. i still hope he wins this year for the 4th time!

  7. Well, Djokovic will get a sore throat.

  8. Yeah that sure will have a negative effect on Rafa. It's his Achilles' heel, cause for a mortal defeat, we may say. He may survive to win if it won't go full 5 sets. Novak is a very very serious & dangerous opponent on every surface.

Good luck to all contenders, a few more days & it will be over & a champ will be declared & receive a million bucks.

  9. If the blister worsen, than Djokovic would win. I hope his blister doesn't get worser though. I am not a Nadal fun, but still it is not nice to see the best lose because of a blister that can be serious. Look what happened in Rome. Allez Roger

  10. i cant see it i hope he dos not win let some one els lol

  11. Yes, I think that he can survive against Djokovic.
