Maybe he should of skipped Barcelona?

He's making a lot of errors..what do you guys think?

I do like Ferrero but I would love to see Nadal defend his title.

I think he'll win in 3. He seems a bit jaded though.

  1. Nadal is not old. He is in perfect shape. He was perfect healthy for the game and he says this.  Ferrero played beautiful and no one should make excuse like Joker.

  2. If he lose, he will lose all the points he defended in rome. yes, come on. fuc* you nadal. he is on way to lose.

  3. I absolutely agree with you.. he should of skipped Barcelona and played the Masters Series. But then again it would of still have been tough.

..and anyway in a way this loss today maybe an advantage for Rafa. He now has a week to recover and he'll probably be fresh to win Hamburg. then another week off and all ready for the French. Imagine how tired he would of been if he kept playing

Anyway I'm actually happy Ferrero won, i think he deserved to win..  great match!

  4. nadal's condition was very well today and play normally good as he do on other clay matches. It is ferrero who does very well and read nadal's tactic. players just need to return every single shot that nadal return until nadal makes unforced error. because Nadal's tactic is same. returning every single shots without attacking taking no risk until opponent make silly errors. Forza Federer!!!

  5. He just lost :-( Oh well at least he stuck it out. Gotta give Ferrero credit though. Nadal could use the rest. He'll be back and ready to go in Hamburg!

  6. yea, he's playing quite poorly on clay this time. May be a loss might just be good for him? He won't have any pressure left on him after that and he'll get much needed rest for the next tourney and most importantly French Open.

  7. he lost.. 5-7 1-6

  8. While Ferrero is a great player on clay, I think the last 3 weeks in a row playing so much is catching up to Nadal a bit and needs a couple days rest. However that does  not mean he cant come back the next 2 sets and continue to win this event as well. But a rest would be wise. He does not have to prove anything by playing all these tourneys and trying to catch Federer in the rankings. He needs to smarten up that way otherwise he will be dealing with more than his ankle and such in due time.

  9. He himself recognized the next few weeks would be tough, I guess he overestimated his physical reserves in wanting to defend his points, or he underestimated Ferrero.
