Manchester United’s Rafael Da Silva feels that the Red Devils are going to get a massive boost in the form of their players returning from injuries, as they look to try and reclaim the Premier League crown once again.
United suffered their fair share of setbacks this season, as a number of their first team players suffered long term layoffs due to injuries.
The Red Devils captain, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Phil-Jones-c29903 are amongst some of the players who have missed out a couple of games this
season due to injuries.
Rafael himself was out of action for over a month due to his injuries, but with him now set to return to the team, along with a number of other players, the defender feels that United might just get the extra edge that they have been looking for, as they
look to push for the Premier League title.
The defender is quoted to have said: "At the beginning, we were unbelievable"
"It was brilliant. Now, it might not be so spectacular but we are still getting results.”
"To be right up there alongside Manchester City is a big achievement when you consider the injuries we’ve had. We've had a lot of them this season and a lot of bad luck, too. But there’s no point complaining about those things. And anyway, we’re still in a
good position.”
United are currently sitting in the second spot in the league table, but are level on points with league leaders, Manchester City.
Despite suffering a number of poor results this season, United have managed to keep a firm hold on the league and despite everyone ruling them out initially, the team is now back in the picture to win the Premier League crown.
Given the returning players to the side, United might just be able to go on and leapfrog City, as they claim the number one spot in the league table.
With one Manchester derby still left to take place this season, many believe that the title winners could be decided when the two teams take on each other.
