Rafinha hails manager Jupp Heynckes and admits he is elated with the confidence given to him
Bayern Munich defender Rafinha has hailed manager Jupp Heynckes for the recent form of the team and admitted that he is pleased of the confidence the tactician has shown in him. The Brazilian stated he is flattered as Philipp Lahm
had to move from right to left side of defence with his arrival and hopes to give his best for the team.
The former Schalke defender arrived from Italian side Genoa in this summer’s transfer window and has already put in some impressive performances. The player replaced http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Philipp-Lahm-c29929 as the right-back as the German international moved
to his natural position of left-back behind Franck Ribery.
Rafinha stated that he is delighted with the confidence the team and the manager has given him since his arrival. He admitted that he was flattered with the decision to replace Lahm as he is one of the best full-backs in the world
currently.
“I am obviously very pleased with the confidence granted to me. Lahm is definitely one of the best full-backs in the world, whether right or left. I'm quite flattered by the confidence of the coach and team,” he was quoted as saying
in an interview.

player and he will cope with the situation to surely prove his critics wrong.
“Critics are still present and are part of our sport. He is a very hard working player and he knows how things work. He is not about to lose his head. He has the confidence of the team and he knows it. The pressure will always
exist and he copes well with that,” the player concluded.
Rafinha has returned to the Bundesliga this summer after having played for Schalke for five years. He played 153 times as a Die Knappen player in the Bundesliga and scored seven goals in the process.
