Question:

Ragdoll cats? traits? anyone know?

I have a ragdoll cat... and just realise a few of its traits (beyond the usual.. )

i also asked my breeder if these were traits and she was dumbfounded, her cats do exactly the same, and she never really took notice, but now is really suprised at it, but googling online, no one ever has mentioned it.

anyone with ragdolls, take a good look at your cat and tell me the following

does he or she rub against your leg (more than once or twice)? mine walks past and is always sitting beside me.. but no constant rubbing like most cats.

and

unlike most cats, she walks with her tail sort of down, with none of her date showing (TMI sorry) , and only has her tail up sometimes during play?

does you cat do these, is it the breed? or just my girl?

(this is asked out of curiousity, if it is a trait, why isn't it out there on the net, all the other information is)

  1. Our Ragdoll doesn't do either of these. She is definitely not a leg rubber - maybe a slight one as she goes by.

Taffy's tail is mostly up - in all its beautiful fluffy glory! She's a happy cat! Wags a LOT when she's excited (sees a cat or bird outside, while we are playing with her, or if she's stalking that 'invisible' thing we apparently have in our house!).
