I know he was withdrawn from Keeneland's Nov. sale in 2005 Ijust wondered what happened to him.I know I could find a home for him! Has a mare ever produced back to back winners of a triple crown race/classic in US, GB/Ireland or anywhere before?

  1. I don't recall a mare ever haveing produced back to back winners of classics before, but HASILI is acknowledged as one of the ultimate "blue hens".  She has produced: Dansili (G2 winner, G1 placed, proving to be an excellent sire having RAIL LINK in his first crop); Banks Hill (multiple G1 winner, inc 2001 BC F & M Turf); Heat Haze (multiple G1 winner); Intercontinental (dual G1 winner, inc 2005 BC F & M Turf); Cacique (dual G1 winner) and Champs Elysees (G3 winner,s till in training in France).

Don't forget that Personal Ensign's family made history at Breeders Cup, with 3 generations of females winning varioous BC races  - she won the BC Distaff in 1988; her daughter My Flag won BC Juv Fillies in 1995 and My Flag's daughter Storm Flag Flying won the same race in 2002.

Another notable horse is SIXTIES ICON - he won the 2006 St Leger and was by a classic winner (Galileo - Epsom Derby) out of a Classic winner (Love Divine - Oaks)

  2. He was sold for $950,000 to Japanese interests.  His name is Casino Drive.

ETA - He is owned by Hidetoshi Yamamoto and trained by Kazuo Fujisawa.  They think quite highly of him and have nominated him to next year's Epsom Derby.  He is working steadily and is expected to debut soon.  For pics and more updates check http://thoroughbredchampions.com/forum/i...
