Rahat Ali, the discarded http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Africa-c757 to give a new life to
his international career.
Over the last couple of domestic seasons, the 24-year-old cricketer has been performing out of skin in first-class cricket, which forced the selectors to give him a chance in the One Day International (ODI) series in Sri Lanka.
Rahat was included in the playing-11 for the second ODI at Pallekele, where he conceded 34 runs in merely four overs without picking up a wicket. The left-armer looked wayward throughout his little spell. He was not given another opportunity
in the remainder of the series and was later dropped from the side.
While speaking to Pakpassion, the young fast bowler expressed his disappointment and admitted that he was not able to perform to the best of his abilities because of the added pressure of international cricket.
"My international debut did not go according to plan. In fact it was a shock to the system. Perhaps it was partly down to nerves but I was really disappointed with myself and know I could and should have done better,” said the youngster.

Pakistan are scheduled to visit South Africa in January, 2013, where the conditions are very much in favour of seam bowlers. Rahat vows to perform well in the domestic circuit, in order to find a place in the national squad once again.
“There's no doubt that I am targeting the tour of South Africa early next year as of course Pakistan will need additional resources in the fast bowling department,” Rahat added. “I've made a decent start to the domestic season and I
hope that I can build on that and have a consistent and successful domestic season this time around."
