Paying tribute to one of his older colleagues, Sachin Tendulkar, the Indian batting-maestro, expressed that no young batsman in the country can replace Rahul Dravid, but understands that every great player has to go one day.

longer version of the game.
The Men in Blue will take on http://www.senore.com/Cricket/New-Zealand-c754 at home in a two-match Test series, which will be their first assignment since the legendary batsman’s retirement. The Indian selectors are currently working hard to find a young batsman, who can perform the same
role for the country, which Dravid did for more than 15 years.
Tendulkar however, is of the opinion that no player can take the right-hander’s place as such cricketers are not born every day. The little-master thinks that the former captain was a complete package and was one of the most disciplined persons, apart from
a solid batsman.
“http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Rahul-c83321 has been an incredible player for India and for world cricket. Nobody is going to be able to replace Rahul in that position, you need someone to be dedicated, be committed and disciplined. The entire country will miss him because
we were all used to Rahul padding up batting at number 3,” Tendulkar said.
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/SK-Raina-c2539 and Ajinkiya Rahane are the favourites to substitute Dravid in the Test team. All four of them have been doing exceedingly well in the domestic cricket and also in the limited opportunities
they received at the world stage. It remains to be seen who wins the selectors’ confidence for the series against the Black Caps.
The batting-maestro, who himself is at the twilight of his career, understands that no cricketer can continue forever and everyone has to make way sooner or later.
“So obliviously these things will continue to happen because that’s how the game goes around for years. Before our generation, there were so many great players but the game continues,” he added.
