The 25-year-old Punjab leg-spinner did not get many opportunities to play during the tour Down Under because of an injury, but he feels that sharing the dressing room with experienced players like http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Chinnadupargea-Sachin-c50607, Dhoni and Sehwag helped him improve his bowling.

"It was a very important tour for me. I had worked very hard before going there. I did not get to play much there because of injury," Sharma added further.
The 25-year-old Jalandhar leggie had split his webbing in the opening game of the triangular Commonwealth Bank Series in Australia against the hosts, and missed the remainder of the tri-series.
After being on the sidelines for almost a month, Sharma made a comeback to competitive cricket against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 T20 tournament semi-final against Mumbai,
the right-arm leg-spinner claimed two wickets and conceded just 15 runs, as Punjab confirmed a spot in the tournament final.
To date Sharma has played three One Day Internationals and two T20 Internationals for the national team, claiming 8 wickets overall.
Sharma also wished a speedy recovery to the ailing Indian all-rounder http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Yuvraj-Singh-c98364, who is undergoing Chemotherapy in the United States for a malignant lung tumour.
"I am in the Indian team because of him. Hope he comes back into the Indian team. Whenever he is back, will be good for us," said Sharma.
Yuvraj was diagnosed with a grade one lung cancer in January earlier this year. The Indian leggie had played the last edition of the lucrative Indian Premier League for the Pune http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Warriors-c861 under the captaincy of Yuvraj.
