  1. There is no such thing as rail europe in Europe. Eurail is a train pass and RailEurope a US travel agency  - you ride the trains with the individual train companies that make up the European train network.

From Fiumicino you can take the direct train (Leonardo Express) to Termini. Train is very fast and modern and leaves every 30 minutes. Journey is 35 minutes and ticket should be no more than a few EUR.

    From Ciampino:

BTW, I saw the Leonardo Express when I took a similar train to my super-duper private 2-people tent. See http://www.plusvillages.com if you are still looking for a hostel in Rome  - cheapest private "room" you can get.

  2. Which airport and which rail station?  There are two airports and three hub/main train stations in Rome.  Termini is probably the train station you need as it is the most used but you still need to supply which airport you'll be using.

I think Cimpiano (sp) is the second airport in Rome.  That's the one I've flown out of.  I think I used one of the other three trains stations to get to it (not Termini) and then took a bus to the airport.

If you are by Termini then just go ask at the info area how to get to the airport.  They speak English and will be able to tell you exactly which train/bus combo for which airport.  That's what I did.

    Best wishes!
