  1. drive to Macinac Island and drive from there to Sault St. Marie in Canada (ithe city is on both sides of the border like Niagara Falls).  from there, board a Quebec/Montreal bound VIA train.  I personally do not know the schedules or trains too well, but you can always check out their site....www.viarail.ca


  2. Amtrak no longer goes from Michigan to Canada.
