Is a family railcard valid for the eurostar?

No.  A Family Railcard is only valid on ATOC affiliated train companies, which are most of those in the UK, however Eurostar is not one of them.

If you want discounted Eurostar fares you will have to go to your local Rail Travel Centre (found at Mainline Terminus City stations or at Airport Stations) you can ask at your local station for the nearest.  Otherwise you will have to go to your local travel agents and ask them, or get directly in contact with Eurostar via phone or website.

No - railcards DO NOT include travel which crosses borders - it's easier that way - it means that no company from another country can claim more etc.

Your Railcard will be accepted by all of the Train Companies who operate Passenger Railway Services EXCEPT Eurostar.

Special excursions and charters are also excluded.

All railcards are valid for UK TOCs but as Eurostar is for travel on the continent also, it is not valid.

(Frustrating I know - I was hoping my Young Person's Railcard would be valid but found that it's not.)
