The current standard is to have nine Mark 4 coaches, comprised of four first class and five standard class vehicles, and a Driving Van Trailer which is also a guard's van and luggage area. So altogether in a set there is the Class 91 locomotive, then nine Mark 4 coaches, then the DVT.
