This surely puts Vermeulen, West and Edwards as a good each way bet.

But I'm gonna keep my money in my pocket, coz this will blow it wide open.

Even the great Casey Stoner hasn't had a particularly good Jerez so far, nowhere near matching Vale's consistently fast times on race rubber. Is Casey holding something in reserve? something thats been a bit of a Rossi trademark in the past.

Anyway, the only thing I'm gonna predict for this test (and for the following season) is that it's gonna be unpredictable!

I wonder if Mr Haydon is going to have a big grin on his face in an hour or two? Like Neil I wouldn't put money on this one, but feel it might not be Stoner today - please god (nothing personal, I just want racing not a procession this season!)

If I felt abit jingoistic today I would say Toseland of course, but that's wishful thinking.
