I dont know how to cope! I have an outdoor wedding planned, and we can rent a tent, theres a 30% of thunder storms next friday and Saturday! I know they say rain is good luck, but were supolsed to get married in a grove, theres no room for a tent in the trees. What do I do?

  1. i wouldnt worry about it if there is only a 30 percent chance of thunderstorms if they even do happen which they probably wont they might be after the ceremony.

p.s. good luck in your marriage

  2. Find a back up. Contact the venue, and let them know your concerns. Ask them if they have an alternative planned. I would always be prepared becuase you never know what could happen. Good luck.

  3. Tell everybody to bring their umbrellas!

  4. I'd change the location to a place you can fit a tent.  Better safe than sorry.  It rained on my wedding day, too!

  5. Quick lesson here: when it says 30% chance of thunderstorms, it does not mean that there is a 30% chance of storms happening, its means that there will be thunderstorms in 30% of the area they are covering. They arel almost sure they are coming, its just a matter of where you are. Even if it doesn't rain on you, they may be near you and it may look like its about to pour for at least part of the day.

You need a backup plan, even if it isn't your dream wedding. Find a place to fit the tent or try and have an alternate indoor location.
