Rain ruins ODI between Bushrangers and Tigers
The ODI match between Bushrangers and Tigers had to be abandoned due to rain, as Victoria aimed for a comeback with their undermanned one day side over the undefeated Tasmanians. Bushrangers got the better of the conditions where little cricket was played
as they scored 112 runs in their first 20 over contest. This was followed by a 9 for 1 in 4 overs by the Tigers, however, rain became too heavy and the match had to be called off.
This is now the second time that a Tiger’s match had to be called off due to rain, after the first match in Sheffield Shield against Queensland ended with little cricket played. However, the abandoned match wasn't a cause of concern for the two sides since
it earned two points for the Bushrangers who are now in second place on the table while Tigers have managed to increase their buffer at the top of the league.
